Ahead of the International Memorial Day for UN Veterans
Messages of Gratitude and Remembrance Delivered Through the Emotions of the Younger Generation
The Busan Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs (Director: Lee Namil) has released a promotional video produced in collaboration with Dongseo University.
The Busan Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs announced on the 29th that it released the promotional video "Gogae Sugin Iyoo," created together with the Buddy Team (Ha Seongmin, Kim Seongeun, Jeon Jiyun, Choi Doeun) from the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at Dongseo University, through its official YouTube channel on the 28th, ahead of "Turn Toward Busan," the International Memorial Day for UN Veterans, which falls on November 11.
This video is the second collaborative project with Dongseo University, following "We Remember Their Wishes," which was presented in celebration of the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation. The video conveys the meaning of "gratitude" and "remembrance" through the perspectives and emotions of the younger generation.
"Gogae Sugin Iyoo" centers on the message, "The reason we can hold our heads high today is because we bow our heads in remembrance," expressing respect for the sacrifice and dedication of UN veterans and the significance of silent tribute for peace.
In addition, the Busan Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs is holding a quiz event on the "Yeogi Bohun" website in conjunction with the video release. Participants can watch the video, answer a simple question, and enter a drawing to win commemorative gifts.
