With a recent surge in incidents involving the leakage of corporate trade secrets and industrial technologies, the industrial competitiveness of both companies and the nation is under threat. Against this backdrop, law firm Daeryook & AJU will present strategies for properly managing and protecting core corporate assets such as personnel and trade secrets, which are essential for business growth.
According to the legal community on October 29, Daeryook & AJU (Managing Partner Lee Kyuchul) will hold a seminar on November 5 under the theme of "Effective Management of Trade Secrets and Response Strategies in Case of Leakage." This webinar, organized by the Daeryook & AJU Criminal and Compliance Group, will introduce key issues related to trade secrets, share recent case law trends, and deliver strategies for effective management and response in the event of trade secret leakage. In addition, consulting solutions such as checklists will also be presented.
The session will be moderated by attorney Shin Byungjae (Judicial Research and Training Institute, 34th class), who gained experience as a prosecutor at the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office, among others. Attorney Shin currently leads the Virtual Asset and Emerging Crimes Response Team at Daeryook & AJU and is in charge of compliance related to trade secret protection.
Attorney Lim Miha (6th Bar Exam) will introduce key precedents and trends related to trade secrets, drawing on her experience in responding to police investigations of trade secret leakage cases. Attorney Lim is an expert with 20 years of police service, having worked in various investigative departments, including as head of the Economic Crime Investigation Team.
