View original imageGwangju Transportation Corporation (President Cho Ikmoon) will hold the 'October Traditional Market Usage Day' event at Yangdong Market in Seo-gu, Gwangju, on October 31, aiming to revitalize local alley businesses and promote the use of public transportation.
According to the corporation on October 27, in conjunction with the 'Yangdong Tongmaek Festival', customers who make purchases of 10,000 won or more at the festival site between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on October 31 will receive a complimentary single-use subway ticket, valid until December 31.
A corporation representative stated, "We are operating various programs in connection with local festivals to help overcome the economic downturn and encourage the use of eco-friendly transportation," adding, "We hope many citizens enjoy a pleasant autumn night together with Gwangju Metro."

Meanwhile, starting last month at Gwangju Songjeong Station, the corporation has been operating 'Traditional Market Usage Day' every month in collaboration with commercial districts near subway stations, contributing to the recovery of the local economy and the promotion of green transportation.
