Seoul Center for Creative Economy and Innovation and CJ to Hold Final Demo Day for 8th Cohort of O!VentUs
The Seoul Center for Creative Economy and Innovation announced that it will hold the Demo Day for the 8th cohort of O!VentUs, an open innovation program for promising domestic lifestyle startups, at the Dreamplus Gangnam B1 Event Hall on October 29, 2025.
O!VentUs is a program co-hosted and co-organized by the Seoul Center for Creative Economy and Innovation and CJ. Five CJ affiliates (six divisions) participated: CJ CheilJedang (Food/Bio), CJ Freshway, CJ Olive Young, CJ Logistics (Construction), and TVING. The program aims to discover and nurture startups with high growth potential, support joint commercialization, and connect and vitalize the lifestyle industry and investment ecosystem through Demo Day.
This Demo Day will serve as an introduction for nine startups, which were selected in July 2025 as promising companies in the food & bio, logistics & commerce, and entertainment & media sectors for the 8th cohort of O!VentUs. The event will focus on showcasing innovative services and technologies, and some of the business proof-of-concept (PoC) results achieved in collaboration with matched CJ affiliates will be shared.
Notably, before the pitches from the nine teams, Sim Kyuhyun, CEO of Lether and a participant in the 6th cohort of O!VentUs, will give a case presentation focusing on the process and experience of business collaboration, sharing related know-how and advice.
The participating companies are: Narrative (CEO Kim Ingi, an explainable AI-based solution for early prediction of high performers and career track optimization), EntreReality (CEO Lee Dongyun, an all-in-one beauty solution providing AI analysis, item recommendations, and simulations), Freshour (CEO Lim Kyungho, a personalized pet food subscription service based on pet PHR big data health analytics and AI-powered disease diagnosis), Limpid (CEO Kim Heesu, the world's first freeze-dried prescription pet food), Textilely (CEO Gong Donghwan, producer of recycled materials using waste blended fibers), PePeanut (CEO Lee Jongdeok, nut-based products with blood sugar control functions using ultrafine low-temperature grinding technology), Cubic (CEOs Jung Minchan and Bae Ho, a secure synthetic data generation solution that maintains 99% of the original data's performance locally), The V Planet (CEO Lee Junho, an AI-based short-form video automatic production solution), and Camellion (CEO Park Chanheok, high-quality barrier-free solutions at reasonable costs), for a total of nine companies.
The event will be held on October 29, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. at the Dreamplus Gangnam B1 Event Hall. Various investment institutions (AC/VC, CVC, etc.), representatives from large and mid-sized companies, and officials from startup support organizations are expected to attend. Networking between the nine startups and attendees will provide opportunities for investment connections and open innovation.
Lee Younggeun, CEO of the Seoul Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, stated, "We hope that the startups participating in the 8th cohort of O!VentUs will create new market opportunities through innovative technologies and business models, and secure competitiveness on the global stage based on collaboration and investment connections with CJ." He added, "The Seoul Center for Creative Economy and Innovation will actively support the sustainable growth of startups through the open innovation fund and various private investment networks."
Meanwhile, the 8th cohort of O!VentUs has been conducted over approximately four months, including business proof-of-concept (PoC) projects with CJ affiliates and a stage-specific acceleration program to strengthen startup capabilities (such as consulting on management and business strategy, IR, PR, and overall company operations). Continuous follow-up support, including investment review and connections, will continue even after Demo Day.
