Genesis Launches First 'Finance Lease & Rental' Product in Korea
The Genesis brand announced on October 1 that it will launch the 'Genesis Finance Lease & Rental' product, offering affordable monthly payments, in the domestic market for the first time.
With the new Genesis Finance program, customers can lease the flagship sedan G90 at a minimum monthly payment of 1.36 million won. This is 310,000 won less per month compared to Hyundai Capital's lease product (1.67 million won per month), amounting to a total benefit of 18.5 million won over the contract period.
The minimum monthly payment for renting the G90 starts at 1.48 million won, which is 270,000 won less per month than Hyundai Capital's rental product (1.75 million won per month). This translates to a total benefit of 16.4 million won over the contract period. These calculations are based on a vehicle price of 97.6 million won, a 60-month contract period, and an annual mileage limit of 20,000 km.
The representative model, the G80 (vehicle price: 59.9 million won), is available for lease starting at 790,000 won per month and for rental starting at 940,000 won per month. The GV80 (vehicle price: 69.45 million won) is available for lease starting at 830,000 won per month and for rental starting at 940,000 won per month. The GV70 (vehicle price: 53.8 million won) is available for lease starting at 660,000 won per month and for rental starting at 760,000 won per month. These figures are based on a 60-month contract period and an annual mileage limit of 20,000 km.
