Iksan City to Hold "Meongryong Dadok Dado Experience" on the 28th
Part of the Initiative to Establish a Pet-Friendly Tourism City
Iksan City in North Jeolla Province, together with the Iksan Culture and Tourism Foundation (CEO Kim Saeman), will hold the "Meongryong Dadok Dado Experience - An Afternoon at Meongmarte" program on September 28 in the outdoor area of the Forest Culture Experience Center.
According to the city on September 26, this program has been planned as part of the initiative to establish Iksan as a pet-friendly tourism city. It is designed as a healing experience where pet owners and their dogs can enjoy tea together and bond with each other.
The experience will be held in both the morning and afternoon, set against the natural backdrop of the Forest Culture Experience Center, which is located in the northernmost green tea field in Korea. Notably, special tea for dogs will be provided, allowing both pet owners and their pets to relax and enjoy time in nature.
Main activities will include: ▲ a welcome tea time with dogs ▲ making herbal water packs for pets (for drinking and bathing) and relaxation sprays ▲ a Meongpuccino and Dasik snack time ▲ a photo event, among others.
An official from the Iksan Culture and Tourism Foundation said, "We expect a great response from pet owners and family participants," adding, "We will continue to operate programs that highlight the unique characteristics of the region so that Iksan can establish itself as a pet-friendly tourism city."

A city official stated, "This experience will be an opportunity for pet owners and their pets to enjoy tea culture and bond together in nature," and added, "We will continue to expand pet-friendly tourism programs in line with the 'Pet Friend Iksan' vision."
