[Market Feature] AI Korea Collaborates with China's No.1 and World's No.2 'Dobot'... Strengthens on Humanoid Expansion
AI Korea's stock price is showing strength. The company's full-scale entry into the autonomous mobile robot (AMR) market, as well as its collaboration with China's leading collaborative robot company, Dobot, appear to be drawing attention.
As of 10:09 a.m. on September 25, AI Korea's stock was trading at 9,430 won, up 4.78% from the previous day.
Founded in 2003, AI Korea specializes in the development of process automation equipment for a variety of advanced industries, including secondary batteries, robotics, and displays. The company is now actively entering the autonomous mobile robot (AMR) market. It has already completed development of a forklift-type AMR and has also developed deep learning software based on map recognition.
The company is also independently developing an integrated robot arm AMR. Ko Seungbeom, a researcher at Yuanta Securities, stated, "AI Korea has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the leading robot arm company in the Chinese market. There may be small-scale orders by the end of this year, and the company has announced plans to expand into humanoid robots in the future."

The Chinese company that has partnered with AI Korea is Dobot, established in 2015. Headquartered in Shenzhen, Dobot was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange last year. In terms of shipment volume, Dobot ranked first among all collaborative robot companies in China and second in the global collaborative robot market in 2023. The company has maintained the top spot in China for six consecutive years and reportedly holds a 13% share of the global market.
