Dongseo University Department of Broadcasting and Visual Media Wins Grand Prize at the 2025 University Information Data Idea Contest
Students from the Department of Broadcasting and Visual Media at Dongseo University (President Jang Jeguk) won the Grand Prize (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Award) at the 2025 University Information Data Idea Contest.

View original imageThis contest, hosted by the Ministry of Education and organized by the Korean Council for University Education, was designed to discover creative ideas that can promote the use of public information materials among the primary users of University Information-students, parents, and teachers.
Woojin Jeon, Sieun Lee, Jiwon Hwang, and Yerim Moon from the Department of Broadcasting and Visual Media received the Grand Prize in the University Information brand category, being recognized for their outstanding planning skills and differentiated video production capabilities.
The winning entry, titled "The Real Notification for the Future, University Information," was created with the intent to highlight the confusion that students and parents experience when searching for information on university admissions and career paths, and to emphasize the importance of University Information as a credible platform.
Jiwon Hwang commented, "The practical, hands-on lectures in our department and the diverse support programs offered by the university helped us gain valuable experience, which led to this great achievement."
