Investor Relations (IR) presentations and investment consultations for companies with technological capabilities and business potential were held in one place.
The event targeted over 400 companies selected for the Scale-up TIPS program, which has been operated by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs as a specialized agency since 2022. Seven companies were chosen through an open call and document review process. More than 80 participants, including major domestic venture capitalists and officials from government and related organizations, also attended.
During the first session, a one-on-one investment consultation was held, where participating companies met with investors such as venture capitalists at individual booths for two 30-minute consultations, actively seeking follow-up investment opportunities. The second session featured IR presentations, where the seven companies introduced their core technologies and business models, followed by an awards ceremony. Nanoelectronics received the Grand Prize, Betterial won the Excellence Award, and Deep Insight was awarded the Merit Prize. In the third networking session, participating companies, investors, and officials from government and related organizations freely discussed technological cooperation, business partnerships, and investment reviews.
Nanoelectronics, which won the Grand Prize at this event, attracted investors' attention with its hybrid polymer-copper fiber transparent surface heating element that offers both transparency and conductivity. Betterial demonstrated its competitiveness in high-performance materials for electric vehicles and energy storage systems (ESS) by applying a world-class high-concentration carbon nanotube (CNT) dispersion. Deep Insight was recognized for its technological scalability and marketability by presenting an AI-based 3D camera solution applicable to various industries.
A representative from the VC Association stated, "The Scale-up TIPS IR Summit is a practical platform that goes beyond simple corporate promotion to present the possibility of follow-up investments. Award-winning companies will also be provided with additional support and promotional opportunities linked to the VC Association's programs."
