Toss Bank Steps Up to Advance the Open Innovation Ecosystem
Participating in the "2025 3rd S.Stage"
The Only Bank in the Program
Toss Bank announced on September 15 that it will be the sole participating bank in the "2025 3rd S.Stage (Startup Open Stage)" open innovation program, jointly hosted by the Seoul Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, the Seoul Regional Office of SMEs and Startups, and the Seoul Business Agency. As the only partner from the banking sector, Toss Bank aims to broaden the foundation of financial innovation and advance the open innovation ecosystem through collaboration with startups.
A total of five companies, including Toss Bank, DB Insurance, DB Securities, LG Electronics, and Woojung Bio, will participate in this event. Each company will identify startups that align with their core business needs and explore possibilities for collaboration.
In this program, Toss Bank will be recruiting startups in the field of business credit evaluation. The main targets are companies with expertise in credit model development, alternative data-based technologies, and data utilization capabilities.
Additionally, Toss Bank plans to directly support processes that can lead to practical cooperation, such as document screening and presentations, one-on-one meetings with selected startups, and providing expert advice and guidance. Through these efforts, the bank seeks to unlock the potential for financial innovation together with startups and pursue opportunities for mutual growth.
