CGV to Hold Ogigami Naoko Director Retrospective
Five Signature Films Screened to Celebrate New Release 'Donkurami'
On September 11, CGV announced that it will hold the 'Ogigami Naoko Director Retrospective' at art house theaters nationwide from the 17th to the 30th.
This special showcase has been organized to celebrate the release of the new film 'Donkurami.' Five films, including signature works such as 'Kamome Diner,' 'Glasses,' 'Riverside Mukorita,' and 'Ripple,' as well as the latest release, will be screened.
'Kamome Diner' is considered a life-changing film by many viewers, while 'Glasses' has become a representative work of healing cinema. 'Riverside Mukorita' is a warm ensemble drama set in an apartment complex, and 'Ripple' stands out for its black comedy elements.
'Donkurami' will be specially released ahead of its official premiere on October 1. Tsuyoshi Domoto of the group KinKi Kids takes the lead role for the first time in 27 years, drawing significant attention.

CGV will also host Q&A sessions with the director and cast. During the retrospective, viewers who watch four of the films will receive an A3 poster for each movie on a first-come, first-served basis. Ticket reservations and event details can be found on the CGV application and website.
