Singer Kang Daniel abruptly canceled his "ACT: New Episode" concert in New Jersey, United States, on September 6 (local time), after the audience had already been admitted. It was reported that he personally took to the stage to deliver an apology.
His agency, Aira, stated on September 7, "We sincerely bow our heads in apology to the fans who had been eagerly waiting for today's concert and came to the venue, as we must deliver such sudden news."
Aira explained, "Both the artist and the company did their utmost to prepare for the New Jersey City concert, but due to insufficient preparation of the local system and unexpected operational issues, we determined it would be difficult to provide a safe and high-quality performance."
The agency added, "We discussed with the local team until the very last moment, but ultimately decided that proceeding in such incomplete conditions would be a greater disservice to fans, and thus we had no other choice but to cancel." All tickets will be fully and automatically refunded without the need for a separate request.
