Kyungmin IT High School in Uijeongbu Publishes School English Newspaper 'IT TIMES'
First Issue of Student-Led Club's "KYUNGMIN IT TIMES" English Newspaper Published
Launched as Part of the "2025 Uijeongbu Future Education Cooperative District Student-Led Club" Initiative
Kyungmin IT High School, located in Ganeung-dong, Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province (Principal: Kim Wansu), announced on August 21 that the school's autonomous club, "Making the School English Newspaper," has published the inaugural issue of the "KYUNGMIN IT TIMES" English newspaper, produced by student members, as of August 19. This newspaper project was carried out as part of the "2025 Uijeongbu Future Education Cooperative District Student-Led Club" initiative.

View original imageA total of 12 student reporters from Kyungmin IT High School participated in the project, exploring career fields and writing articles to promote the school throughout the first semester. They handled every stage of production themselves, including photography and article editing. The published newspaper was distributed to all faculty members and students, with remaining copies to be used for future school events and external promotional materials.

Principal Kim Wansu stated, "It is very meaningful that the students took the initiative to handle every part of the process, from planning to production, during their after-school hours. I hope this experience will serve as a valuable opportunity for students to develop self-directed learning skills and collaboration abilities."
