Hanam City Accepting Apartment Subsidy Applications Until the 22nd... Up to 50 Million Won Per Complex
Hanam City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Hyunjae) announced on August 20 that it will accept applications for the "2026 Apartment Complex Subsidy Support Project" until the 22nd, in order to create a pleasant residential environment for apartment residents.
This project aims to improve aging communal facilities and children's playgrounds in apartment complexes, providing subsidies of up to 50 million won per complex.
This year, a total of 490 million won is being invested to improve facilities in 11 complexes.
The "2026 Apartment Complex Subsidy Support Project" targets communal areas in apartment complexes that are at least 15 years old from the date of inspection, and children's playgrounds in complexes that are at least 5 years old. However, complexes that have received support from the same project within the past five years, or have been subject to administrative action under the Apartment Housing Management Act within the past three years, are excluded.
A Hanam City official stated, "The project to support improvements to communal facilities in apartment complexes has a high level of citizen satisfaction, so we will actively promote it to ensure more complexes can benefit in the future."
