The aim was to hear about difficulties and unnecessary regulations on site and to seek support measures for industrial development.
Established in 1976, Gangrim CSP is a specialized manufacturer of seamless steel pipes used in shipbuilding, offshore plants, petrochemicals, and power generation facilities. It holds a 70% share of the domestic market and is recognized both domestically and internationally for its stable supply chain, which is supported by the nation’s largest steel logistics center.
Seamless pipes are steel pipes without welded seams, offering superior strength and pressure resistance, making them suitable for special environments such as power plants and offshore plants.
In addition, Gangrim CSP has shown active interest in expanding into new business areas based on integrated logistics, leveraging its accumulated experience and technological expertise in operating large-scale steel logistics centers and connecting with the logistics infrastructure of the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone.
On this day, the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority visited the industrial site in person to carefully listen to the company’s challenges, discuss ways to connect government and local policies, and address the need for regulatory improvements. The authority also discussed strengthening the cooperation network between related organizations and private companies to promote proactive policy initiatives that meet the needs of businesses and vitalize the strategic item industries.
