Customized On-Site Education
200 Sessions Scheduled
Education programs aimed at enhancing the carbon neutrality awareness and practical capabilities of future generations, as well as spreading a culture of green living tailored to local characteristics, are being launched.
Daejeon City will officially operate the lifestyle-focused environmental education program, "2025 Visiting Climate School," from August 20 to November 28, targeting kindergartens and elementary and middle schools within the city.
This initiative is being carried out in cooperation with the Daejeon Carbon Neutrality Support Center. The "Visiting Climate School" program features professional environmental instructors who visit schools directly to deliver a combination of lectures and hands-on activities over approximately two hours.
The curriculum covers topics such as carbon neutrality, climate change response, and resource circulation, and is tailored to the developmental stages of participating children and the conditions of each region.
The program aims not only to deliver knowledge, but also to drive sustainable behavioral change through participatory activities and communication-centered classes.
This year, the Climate School will be held a total of 200 times, with participants selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
