VIVE Company Launches Global Beta of WHOTAG Service
On August 20, VIVE Company announced the launch of the global beta version of its AI-based influencer discovery service, "WHOTAG."
Earlier this year, after validating WHOTAG's technology and potential applications through collaborations with domestic marketing agencies and K-beauty brands, the company has now expanded the service to a global version, making it available in 109 countries.
WHOTAG allows users to enter their desired country, target audience, and content style in natural language, and the AI recommends the most suitable influencers in real time. The service lowers the entry barrier by enabling users to search for influencers with a single sentence, without the need for hashtag combinations or filter settings. It supports multilingual searches in Korean, English, Japanese, and more, further enhancing global accessibility.
In particular, VIVE Company's proprietary "GPT Profiling" technology goes beyond just account information or follower counts. The AI precisely analyzes qualitative characteristics such as an influencer's content style, interests, and collaboration history to assess compatibility with a brand.
In practice, WHOTAG has verified its process of precisely matching influencers suitable for local targets through projects with domestic beauty brands seeking to expand into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Japan, and other overseas markets. For the challenge of "discovering local influencers," which global marketers find most difficult, WHOTAG has received high satisfaction from professionals by providing recommendations that reflect qualitative factors unique to the beauty market, such as culture, skin tone, and consumer preferences.
Kim Kyungseo, CEO of VIVE Company, stated, "WHOTAG is a marketing AX case that realizes the AI transformation of influencer discovery, and we believe it can establish itself as a competitive service in the global market."
