BigHit, BTS's Agency, Names New Boy Group "Cortis"
BigHit Music, the label behind BTS and Tomorrow X Together, has officially named its new rookie boy group "CORTIS," marking the company's first new boy group in six years.
On August 7, BigHit Music launched the group's official social media accounts and revealed the team name. The posted "logo sound" video shows the members of Cortis working on filming and production in a studio equipped with audio equipment.
The name "Cortis" is formed by combining six letters from the phrase "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES," and carries the meaning of aspiring to think beyond established boundaries.
