Singer Boa has canceled her planned concert commemorating the 25th anniversary of her debut due to health reasons, her agency SM Entertainment announced on July 15.
Boa was scheduled to hold a solo concert at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul on August 30 and 31. SM Entertainment stated, "She recently visited the hospital due to worsening knee pain and was diagnosed with acute osteonecrosis, which requires surgical treatment."
The agency further explained, "To prevent the progression of the condition, she must refrain from strenuous physical activities and performances, and, based on the medical opinion that surgery is needed as soon as possible, it has become difficult to proceed with the concert."
