2025 KCIA Korea Consumer Industry Evaluation "Lifestyle/Leisure" Metropolitan Area Results Announced
KCA Korea Consumer Evaluation has announced the results of the 2025 KCIA Korea Consumer Industry Evaluation in the "Lifestyle/Leisure" category for the metropolitan areas of Gwangju, Daegu, Daejeon, Busan, Ulsan, and Incheon. This evaluation is hosted by the Korea Consumer Council and organized by Korea Consumer Evaluation.
The purpose of this evaluation is to realize the eight basic consumer rights guaranteed by Article 4 of the Framework Act on Consumers, including the right to have opinions reflected, the right to receive information, and the right to choose, by publishing the results of consumer evaluations by industry based on the standard industry classification. It also aims to provide consumers with objective and useful information to help improve the quality of their consumer lives.
The 2025 KCIA Korea Consumer Industry Evaluation "Lifestyle/Leisure" is conducted annually to select and introduce outstanding companies that provide convenience services closely related to consumers' daily lives and various leisure activities, and that have received high ratings from actual users.
For this evaluation, a preliminary survey was conducted on lifestyle and leisure service providers nationwide from April to May, based on the number of reviews on portal sites and other sources. Companies that ranked within the top 31.6% were notified as candidates, and ultimately, only the top 0.17% of all companies were selected as outstanding companies according to the evaluation criteria below.
Korea Consumer Evaluation selected between one and three outstanding companies per region and sector, based on the actual experiences of consumers who used the services. The final evaluation was conducted according to five criteria: service quality satisfaction, facility satisfaction, cleanliness satisfaction, accessibility, and overall evaluation. The list of selected companies is as follows.
A representative from Korea Consumer Evaluation stated, "Recently, consumers are increasingly prioritizing 'time efficiency,' 'data-driven choices,' and 'personalized experience consumption.' In particular, rather than engaging in complex information searches, more consumers are seeking to efficiently select services that fit their lifestyles through verified curation, and interest in digital technology-based personalized services is also rising. We hope that the announcement of outstanding companies will help consumers make rational choices and contribute to the sustainable growth of the related industries as a whole."

The representative also added, "In line with the purpose and meaning of the Korea Consumer Industry Evaluation, we plan to support the revitalization of household consumption for low-income families through the 'Fruit of Love' campaign. In particular, through the 'Child Sponsorship Program,' we provide regular support for living expenses, educational expenses, and medical expenses to children and adolescents from low-income and vulnerable groups, and we hope this will help them enjoy a healthy childhood and adolescence. We will continue to pay attention and move forward together in the future."
