Polestar Launches 2026 Polestar 4 with Frozen Prices and Enhanced Value
Starting at 66.9 Million KRW... Nappa Leather Option Reduced by 1 Million KRW
Electrochromic Glass Roof Option Added
Polestar announced on June 26 that it will launch the 2026 model year 'Polestar 4', which features new options including a glass roof with adjustable transparency.
The Polestar 4, an electric performance SUV coupe, has proven its outstanding value, with approximately 1,500 units sold since its first customer deliveries in November last year.
It delivers powerful performance of up to 400kW (544hp), accelerating from a standstill to 100km/h in just 3.8 seconds (for the Long Range Dual Motor version). The vehicle is equipped with a 100kWh lithium-ion battery in a cell-to-pack configuration and supports ultra-fast charging up to 200kW. The production process of the Polestar 4 emits 19.4 tons of greenhouse gases, which is the lowest carbon footprint among all Polestar mass-produced models.
Polestar has frozen the starting price of the Polestar 4, and reduced the price of the Nappa leather option by 1 million KRW, from 5.5 million KRW to 4.5 million KRW. The electrochromic glass roof, introduced for the first time in the Korean market, allows users to adjust the transparency of the roof with a single button. Like the existing glass roof, it blocks 99.5% of ultraviolet rays and reduces glare during daytime driving. The price for this option is 1.5 million KRW.
Additionally, Polestar has introduced a steering wheel with physical buttons and obtained new certification for the driving range of the dual motor model equipped with 20- to 21-inch wheels (455km), further enhancing real-world driving satisfaction. The previously unified certified driving range of 395km for the dual motor version is now divided into 455km for the standard trim (20- to 21-inch wheels) and 395km for the Performance Pack (22-inch wheels). As a result, customers purchasing the standard trim are now eligible for higher electric vehicle purchase subsidies compared to before.
The price of the Polestar 4 remains unchanged at 66.9 million KRW for the Long Range Single Motor and 71.9 million KRW for the Long Range Dual Motor.
