Dong-Eui University of Science RCY Club Marks 20th Anniversary with Community-Focused Volunteer Activities
The RCY club at Dong-Eui University of Science (President: Kim Youngdo) celebrated its 20th anniversary by carrying out customized volunteer activities for local seniors and children.
According to Dong-Eui University of Science on June 17, RCY club students and faculty members shared warmth with various neighbors, including rural seniors in Sancheong County, seniors at the Onmaeul Sarangchae community center, and children at the Yangjeong Together Care Center, by delivering homemade bread and cookies under the theme "20 Years of Sharing, 20 Years of Love."

Choi Eunju, head of the Yangjeong Together Care Center, said, "I am deeply grateful for the warm attention and practical support for the local community," adding, "The sincerity and care of the students became a great gift for our children."
Professor Lee Sangjoo, who advises the RCY club, stated, "Together with the students, we will continue to identify and carry out volunteer activities that the local community needs."
Over the past 20 years, the RCY club at Dong-Eui University of Science has engaged in a wide range of volunteer activities, including cleaning residential environments for marginalized groups, sharing kimchi, helping with farm work, and providing environmental education. The club is committed to fostering a culture of volunteerism that grows alongside the local community.
