Kim Taejin, a member of the Gwangju Seo-gu Council, received a merit award from the Gwangju branch of the Kia Motors division of the Korean Metal Workers' Union under the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (branch chief Eun Yongcheol) on the 16th.
This merit award was given in recognition of Councilor Kim's ongoing efforts to promote the safety and convenience of workers, as well as his contributions to improving living conditions and traffic safety around the Kia Motors Gwangju Plant.
