Air Busan Resumes Ulsan-Jeju Route After Three Years and Four Months
Two Daily Round-Trip Flights on the Ulsan-Jeju Route Starting July 11
Air Busan will resume flights on the Ulsan-Jeju route starting July 11, 2025.
This marks the first time in approximately three years and four months since the airline withdrew from Ulsan Airport in March 2022.
On May 20, Ulsan City announced, "Air Busan's resumption of service is a result of fulfilling the conditions imposed by the Fair Trade Commission following the merger of Korean Air and Asiana Airlines," and added, "For the next 10 years, operations will be maintained at about 90% of the previous seat supply."
Beginning with flight BX8301 departing Ulsan at 11:20 a.m. on July 11, Air Busan plans to operate two round-trip flights daily between Ulsan and Jeju. Tickets will be available for purchase starting at 9:00 a.m. on May 21.
With this resumption, Ulsan Airport will operate a total of four round-trip flights on the Ulsan-Jeju route (including one operated by Korean Air and one by Jin Air), in addition to the Ulsan-Gimpo route, which operates three round-trip flights per day.
Ulsan City commented, "Until now, the flight schedules for the Ulsan-Jeju route have not been convenient for users, causing citizens to experience inconvenience by having to use Gimhae Airport," and expressed expectations that "with Air Busan's return, the number of flights will double, greatly improving the convenience of air travel for citizens."
