Chungnam Office of Education Hosts "Vocational Education Festival" for Middle School Students
Providing Opportunities for Career Exploration Based on Aptitude and Interests

View original imageThe Chungnam Office of Education announced that it held the "2025 Chungnam Vocational Education Festival" at Korea University of Technology and Education Campus 1 over two days, from May 13 to May 14, with the participation of approximately 6,000 middle school students from the province.
Now in its fourth year, the Chungnam Vocational Education Festival featured a variety of programs, including an exhibition of Meister high school research project results, a vocational high school promotion zone, and an introduction to vocational education in Chungnam.
The exhibition of Meister high school project outcomes showcased projects tailored to the unique characteristics of each Meister high school.
The vocational high school promotion zone involved 38 vocational high schools from the province, offering programs such as hands-on experience building autonomous cleaning robots and exploring the world of artificial intelligence (AI) through Alpha Mini.
At the Chungnam vocational education introduction zone, graduates who had completed outstanding vocational high school curricula in the province shared their employment success stories in person and provided practical advice through conversations.
Additionally, a variety of programs were held, including K-POP performances, an indoor drone show, and a talent contest for middle school students. The Dream Cafe, operated by the Chungcheongnam-do Job Economy Promotion Agency and Korea University of Technology and Education, also attracted many students.
Superintendent Kim Ji-cheol said, "I hope that through this vocational education festival, students will have the opportunity to experience a wide range of educational activities and excellent programs offered by vocational high schools, and that this will provide meaningful support for them in exploring career paths and planning their futures based on their own aptitudes and interests."
