KS Industry shares are strong. This is interpreted as being influenced by Lee Jaemyung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party, who pledged five major strategies for the future development of the shipbuilding industry as part of his campaign promises.

On the morning of the same day, candidate Lee stated on Facebook, "In the midst of the major trends of the climate crisis and digital transformation, a sustainable growth strategy is essential for the shipbuilding industry to take another leap forward," adding, "With five major strategies for the future development of the shipbuilding industry, I will turn Korea into a leading maritime powerhouse that goes beyond being a shipbuilding powerhouse."
He went on to say, "We will take the lead in the smart and eco-friendly future vessel market," and added, "We will enhance the competitiveness of LNG vessels and electric ships, and drive the early commercialization of eco-friendly fuels such as methanol, ammonia, and hydrogen, as well as ship batteries."

Meanwhile, according to the industry, Lim Mooyoung, an advisor at KS Industry, officially joined Lee Jaemyung's campaign on the same day. Lim has been appointed as the head of the election support team in the organizational headquarters of the Democratic Party's 'Real Korea Election Countermeasures Committee.' This marks the second time Lim has joined Lee Jaemyung's campaign, following his participation in 2022.
