Gochang County Environmental Education Center Recruiting Participants for "Living Together on Earth"
Applications Accepted Until the 21st
Encouraging Carbon Neutrality in Daily Life
The Gochang County Environmental Education Center announced on May 13 that it is accepting applications for the first session of the Ecological Environment Academy program, "Living Together on Earth," until May 21.
Under the name "Neuru Life Challenge," the program is operated as a non-face-to-face environmental education initiative designed to encourage the practice of carbon neutrality in daily life. It is linked to the first week of June's Environmental Education Practice Week, aiming to raise environmental awareness and expand participation.
The core of this challenge is to connect interest in the climate crisis and carbon neutrality to practical actions in everyday life, with the theme "One Vegetarian Meal." Participants are encouraged to watch videos related to vegetarianism and share their thoughts.
A representative from the Gochang County Environmental Education Center stated, "In recognition of Environmental Education Practice Week, we aimed to increase interest in sustainable lifestyles by encouraging local residents to participate in experience-based programs that connect food choices with climate action."
