In addition, the district will strengthen its promotion of the "Electronic Family Relationship Registration System" (efamily.scourt.go.kr) to encourage its use. Currently, six types of reports?birth, name change, correction of the family relationship register, change of registration base, creation of surname and origin for those who have acquired nationality, and creation of family relationship registration?can be submitted online, and 13 types of certificates can be issued free of charge.
Gangseo-gu stated, "Although various certificates such as resident registration, certified copies, and local tax payment certificates are being issued through Government24, many residents are still unaware of the option to report family relationship registrations online," adding, "We plan to conduct intensive promotion through various channels such as electronic billboards, social media, and the district website."
