Shares of USIM (Universal Subscriber Identity Module) suppliers are rising in response to the SK Telecom (SKT) hacking incident.
As of 9:41 a.m. on May 2, Ubivelox was trading at 8,700 won, up 1,220 won (16.31%) from the previous trading day.

At the same time, Xecure was trading at 4,760 won, up 200 won (4.39%), and Iruon was trading at 1,568 won, up 63 won (4.19%).
According to industry sources, the listed companies supplying USIMs to SKT include Ubivelox and Xecure. Iruon, a company specializing in mobile communication solutions and value-added services, manufactures wireless communication USIM chips used for Near Field Communication (NFC).
