SMG Yonsei Hospital Donates 15 Million Won to Support Yeongnam Wildfire Victims

On April 30, SMG Yonsei Hospital donated 15 million won to the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea to support residents who were affected by the recent large-scale wildfires in the Yeongnam region.

View original imageThis donation was made possible through the combined efforts of voluntary contributions from hospital staff and additional support provided at the hospital level, with the aim of offering practical assistance to local residents who lost their homes due to the wildfires.
At the donation ceremony, Sangje Park, Director of the hospital, said, "I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the residents of the affected areas who are experiencing great hardship due to this sudden disaster," and added, "Although our contribution may be small, I hope it will help the displaced residents recover their daily lives."
He continued, "SMG Yonsei Hospital will continue to stand with the local community and spare no effort in providing necessary medical services and support to neighbors in need."
This donation will be used for emergency relief projects aimed at wildfire recovery and stabilizing the lives of those displaced, and is expected to contribute to the swift recovery of the local community.
