Korea University of Technology and Education Signs Agreement with Korea Polytechnics for Joint Development of E-learning Content

View original imageKorea University of Technology and Education signed an agreement with Korea Polytechnics on the 16th to jointly develop e-learning content.
The agreement was signed at the Mondrian Conference Room in Itaewon, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, with President Yoo Gil-sang of Korea University of Technology and Education and Chairman Lee Cheol-soo of Korea Polytechnics in attendance.
Through this agreement, the two universities plan to develop around 40 e-learning content items in various fields, including NCS-based lifelong vocational competency and artificial intelligence (AI), to provide self-directed learning and high-quality online education.
The developed content will be offered through the Smart Vocational Training Platform (STEP), co-operated by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and Korea University of Technology and Education, as well as Korea Polytechnics' Smart Learning Management System.
President Yoo Gil-sang of Korea University of Technology and Education said, "Through close cooperation, we will contribute to enhancing lifelong vocational competencies for all vocational trainees and employees nationwide."
Chairman Lee Cheol-soo of Korea Polytechnics also stated, "We will strive to produce field-oriented content so that anyone in Korea can receive high-quality technical education anytime, anywhere."
