He played a crucial role in establishing TikTok's music ecosystem in the global media platform market by leading music licensing and collaborations with K-pop artists.
Bae Jeonghyun, who graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in German Language and Literature, developed his expertise as a global business professional through experiences at CJ Entertainment and LG Electronics' Smart TV business division, executing various content and platform strategies in the North American, European, Japanese, and Chinese markets.
With the addition of General Manager Bae Jeonghyun, SAMG Entertainment plans to focus even more on growing its overseas business division. Recently, SAMG Entertainment has steadily expanded the global reach of Korean animation character IPs by increasing overseas sales by more than 67% compared to the previous year. The company is currently preparing to enter the Southeast Asian market in addition to China and Japan.
