Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital recently received a group commendation from the Minister of Health and Welfare at the 13th anniversary ceremony of the Korea Medical Dispute Mediation and Arbitration Agency held in Seoul. This award recognizes the hospital's efforts in actively utilizing the medical dispute mediation system for prompt relief of patients affected by medical accidents and smooth resolution of medical disputes.
Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital contributed to the activation of the medical dispute mediation system through active cooperation during the mediation procedures of the Korea Medical Dispute Mediation and Arbitration Agency, and was evaluated as a model for hospital management. The hospital plans to further develop its systems for protecting patient rights and rationally resolving medical disputes.
Director Min Jungjun stated, "We have worked to achieve a balanced realization of both protecting patient rights and ensuring the stable operation of the hospital," and added, "We will continue to provide patient-centered medical services and institutional cooperation for resolving medical disputes."
