This is a Cherry Blossom Hotspot... Enjoy Spring at Daegu Catholic University
The iconic spring attraction of Daegu Catholic University campus, 'Cherry Road', is once again adorned with fully bloomed cherry blossoms this year.
The approximately 300-meter-long cherry blossom path on the main campus is a popular spot that captivates students and local residents every spring.
With the full bloom period starting at the end of March, students are enjoying the atmosphere of spring by taking photos and strolling along the path.
The cherry blossom road is also a favorite destination for outdoor activities for children from local daycare centers and kindergartens, and it is common to see nearby residents taking walks with their families along the path.
In particular, the area around Cherry Road features a harmonious blend of an octagonal pavilion, pine tree forest, and grassy lawns, creating a beautiful natural landscape.
Cherry blossom petals fluttering in the wind and those scattered on the dirt path enhance the romantic mood of spring.
Various on-campus events are also held here, adding to the lively atmosphere. The Student Club Association and other student organizations have provided picnic mats for rent, held mini-games, and offered Polaroid photo sessions, making the campus even more vibrant.
A Daegu Catholic University representative stated, "Cherry Road is an open space shared not only by students but also with the local community," adding, "We plan to make the campus even more welcoming to citizens in the future through a variety of cultural events and programs."
