Kiwoom Bullio Global Multi Asset EMP Fund, Default Option Portfolio's Profitability Defender 'Efficient Performer'
The Kiwoom Bullio Global Multi-Asset EMP Fund, which employs an asset allocation strategy that avoids concentration in the U.S. market, is proving to be a key contributor in defending returns within default option portfolios.
Kiwoom Asset Management announced on the 3rd that the Kiwoom Bullio Fund recorded the highest year-to-date return among 28 balanced funds (BF) included in default options.
According to fund rating agency Zeroin, as of the 31st of last month, the O-class share of the fund posted a return of 3.61%, surpassing the average return of 1.08% for funds of the same type.
This is analyzed as the result of a differentiated global asset allocation strategy. The Kiwoom Bullio Fund is advised by Dumulmeori Investment Advisory. It enhances market responsiveness through a unique management approach that harmoniously combines momentum, value, and four-season strategies. Unlike TDFs or other balanced funds with high U.S. equity allocations, it effectively defended against the downside risk of the U.S. stock market by broadly including commodities such as gold, as well as Chinese and emerging market assets.
In the recent market environment where concerns over U.S. growth slowdown are increasing, the diversified strategy that lowers dependence on U.S. assets led to differentiated returns. The Kiwoom Bullio Fund plays a valuable role in driving returns within default option portfolios, providing investors with a sense of stability.
The Kiwoom Bullio Fund covers various global asset classes including equities, bonds, commodities, and alternative assets, dynamically adjusting allocations considering the characteristics of each asset. Through the four-season strategy, it selects and incorporates suitable asset classes according to economic conditions, minimizing market volatility and pursuing consistent returns.
Selected for default option portfolios by multiple providers, the Kiwoom Bullio Fund is gaining attention as a global diversification alternative and complement among existing default option funds heavily concentrated in the U.S. It is regarded as a core pillar that balances long-term investment portfolios in the retirement pension market.
Kiwoom Asset Management is expanding its presence in the default option market based on the Kiwoom Bullio EMP Fund and the Kiwoom Dream TDF series. A Kiwoom management official stated, "We will continue to manage the funds to achieve the best possible long-term returns and consistently introduce products that can provide sustainable returns across various market environments."
