This schedule adjustment was made to address the inconvenience of customers in the Jeonnam region who use education, medical, and administrative services in the Seoul metropolitan area. The KTX train that previously departed at 7:09 a.m. (based on Yeosu Expo Station) will now depart about one hour earlier, at 6:03 a.m. from Yeosu Expo Station.
With this adjustment, it is expected that customers will be able to handle morning business in the metropolitan area on the same day, making train use more convenient.
The schedules for some KTX and regular trains will be changed, and the updated timetable can be found on the KORAIL website and mobile app.
Kim Jintae, head of KORAIL Jeonnam Headquarters, said, "We have worked to change the train schedules for the convenience of railway passengers," and added, "We ask for your continued interest and use."
