'Ddokddok', SaaS Solution for VC, LP, and Startups Unveiled
DSC Investment Subsidiary Ddokddok
Unveils Solutions for Startup Ecosystem Members
'Ddokddok', an AI-based Software as a Service (SaaS) solution company targeting venture capitalists (VC), limited partners (LP), and startups, announced that it will hold a product presentation from April 2 to 4 at Parnas Tower in Samseong-dong.
Ddokddok is a subsidiary of DSC Investment and is developing a B2B SaaS ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution for members of the startup ecosystem. The solution aims to create an investment ecosystem that connects VCs, startups, and LPs as one. It incorporates 14 years of investment asset management know-how accumulated by DSC Investment, which manages assets exceeding 1 trillion KRW, and its subsidiary accelerator Schmidt.
Ddokddok currently offers ▲ 'VCworks', an ERP that manages overall tasks such as funds, investment assets, HR, and accounting for VCs and asset management companies ▲ 'STworks', which provides startups with communication tools with shareholders and various functions necessary for early-stage companies ▲ 'LPworks', which supports fund management for private limited partners.
Each product is interconnected through data to enhance work efficiency for each participant in the investment ecosystem. It minimizes simple repetitive tasks that require manual entry of the same information multiple times and provides an environment focused on investment screening and decision-making.
In the startup industry, there has been a consistent demand for a system that can connect the three parties?investors, limited partners, and startups?and for statistical data on startups. Although the interests of VCs, LPs, and startups differ, their ultimate goals are the same: successful corporate growth, value-up, and growth of the startup scene.
To promote mutual growth and coexistence among the three parties, a trustworthy data sharing and information management channel is essential. Accordingly, BlackRock, the world's largest asset management company, established eFront, an ERP SaaS solution developer, in 2019. In 2024, it also acquired Preqin, an alternative investment data provider. In contrast, in Korea, there is still no ERP solution that can integrate and manage data comprehensively.
This presentation will introduce the core features of the Ddokddok solution.
Key features include a 'One-Stop Investment Recovery Process' that efficiently manages the process from investment to post-management and recovery, and an 'All-in-One Sales Reporting System' that automatically aggregates company reports and updates data. Additionally, the 'Resolution Fast Track', which digitizes decision-making processes with portfolio companies, data digitization of investment review details, free inquiry of LP investment details, and flexible data processing functions will be introduced.
Specialized VC functions such as 'ChatVC' for easy access to investment information, mobile data viewing, automatic vouchers, multi-ledger support, valuation, and IRR calculation will also be showcased.
