View original imageThe international development NGO Global Sharing Movement (Chairman Kim Hye-kyung) announced on the 26th that it has appointed Gayageum Byeongchang artist Park Hyun-joo as its new ambassador.
Ambassador Park Hyun-joo is a holder of the national intangible cultural heritage Gayageum Sanjo and Byeongchang, and has received the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award at the 36th National Gugak Festival. She is currently actively performing as a member of Lee Young-shin's Soritarae.
Ambassador Park Hyun-joo expressed, "I was deeply impressed by the mission of the Global Sharing Movement to realize the self-reliance and sustainable development of local residents," and added, "I look forward to doing meaningful work together with the Global Sharing Movement as an ambassador."
