Gimpo City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Byung-su) announced on the 20th that it will hold the ‘Gimpo Food Culture Festival’ at Sau Culture and Sports Square on the 29th.
Held to commemorate the 27th Gimpo Citizens' Day, this festival features a food court where you can experience nine designated ‘Gimpo Matjip’ restaurants in one place, popup stores from 10 local food manufacturing companies, and busking performances where you can enjoy music and food together.
Additionally, the festival will offer a stroller rest zone for parents with babies, as well as various events such as stamp rallies and quizzes, presenting a diverse food culture festival.
The ‘Gimpo Matjip’ participating in this festival includes nine establishments: ▲ Haemullo ▲ Insaenghwaro ▲ Chinese Restaurant On ▲ Burger307 ▲ Damguri Shabu Kalguksu ▲ Abogo-ga ▲ Park Seobang’s Kodari ▲ Namgang Catfish Spicy Stew ▲ Cafe Jinjeongseong, where visitors can enjoy a variety of meals, desserts, and beverages at prices cheaper than in-store.
Citizens visiting the festival can place orders at a central booth that allows ordering food from multiple booths at once, then receive reusable plates and utensils at each booth and dine in the designated eating zone set up in the center of the venue. Used containers can be returned to the reusable container collection bins installed at the venue.
