Busan Institute for Creative Convergence Education Operates Marine and Astronomy Science Experience Class
After-School Learning Program Reflecting Institutional Characteristics
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Creative Convergence Education Center (Director Han Jonghwan) will operate the "Astronomical Science and Marine Science Experience Class" for 15 elementary school students in grades 4 to 6 in the Busan area every Saturday from the 29th until December 20th.
This program has been prepared as an after-school learning program reflecting the institution's unique characteristics, aiming to provide students with various opportunities for scientific experiences through high-quality education.
The program consists of 16 experience classes linked to exhibitions related to science, marine, and astronomy. The activities are designed to stimulate students' curiosity and interest, with topics such as "Moon, Moon, What Moon?" where students can observe the phases of the moon, and "Exploring the Marine Ecosystem with Whale Snack and DIY Mario Aquarium," which includes visiting a marine aquarium and learning about marine life ecosystems.
The experience program is organized into four sessions, each running for two months. Applications for the first session are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the Busan Creative Convergence Education Center website from the 17th to 5 p.m. on the 24th.
