Pusan National University (President Choi Jaewon) held the '2025 College of Medicine Academic Operations Briefing Session' on the afternoon of the 16th at the main lecture hall of the Student Union Building on the Busan Campus to explain the university's academic management plans for normalizing medical education.

View original imageAt the 'College of Medicine Academic Operations Briefing Session' hosted by Pusan National University College of Medicine, the university explained the educational plans for the 2024 and 2025 entering classes and the overall medical curriculum to students and parents of all years in the pre-medical and medical programs.
Dean Cho Wonho of the College of Medicine personally explained the key academic guidelines, including the medical school academic calendar, leave of absence, registration, and course enrollment, and also held a Q&A session to answer pre-submitted questions.
Dean Cho Wonho stated during the briefing, "I deeply empathize with the confusion and difficulties experienced by medical students over the past year, and this session was organized to seek solutions together and minimize the damage caused by the prolonged gap," adding, "Our university is doing its utmost not only to ensure medical students' education but also to minimize disadvantages in future national licensing exams and residency preparation."
Pusan National University President Choi Jaewon also remarked, "We are expanding practice labs, equipment, and educational spaces so that medical students can receive their education without disruption," and urged, "I hope students trust the school and devote themselves to their studies."
The College of Medicine at Pusan National University previously held a '2025 College of Medicine Freshmen Welcome Ceremony' at 11 a.m. on the 7th at the Student Union Building on the Busan Campus, inviting incoming pre-medical students and their parents for the 2025 academic year.
About 100 freshmen and 130 attendees, including parents, participated in the welcome ceremony. The university congratulated the new students on their admission, introduced the university's curriculum and student activities, and expressed hope that they would quickly nurture their dreams of becoming medical professionals at the school.
