LS MnM Co., Ltd. Donates 150 Million KRW to Ulju-gun
On the 6th, LS MnM Co., Ltd. donated 150 million KRW to Ulju-gun to help low-income and marginalized groups in the region.
On the same day, a donation ceremony was held at the small conference room of the Ulju-gun Office, attended by Lee Soon-geol, the governor of Ulju-gun; Park Seong-sil, the smelting plant manager of LS MnM; Son Deok-hyun, chairman of the Ulju-gun Volunteer Center; Choi In-sik, chairman of the Ulju-gun Facilities Management Corporation; and Yang Ho-young, secretary general of the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea, among other officials.
The donated funds will be distributed to welfare-related facilities within Ulju-gun, including the Ulju-gun Volunteer Center, Ulju Food Bank Market, and the Southern Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, to be used for supporting socially vulnerable groups and child support projects.
Park Seong-sil, the smelting plant manager, said, “As a company located in Ulju-gun, I feel very honored to deliver the donation prepared to improve local welfare again this year,” adding, “We will strive to care for our neighbors and become a company that coexists with the local community through continuous social contribution activities.”
Governor Lee Soon-geol responded, “We are grateful for LS MnM’s warm heart for the local community,” and said, “The precious donation you have delivered will be meaningfully used to give hope to neighbors in need.”
