Hampyeong County Promotes Eco-Friendly Livestock Industry with Low-Methane Forage

According to Hampyeong County on the 4th, Deputy Governor Kang Hachun recently visited the Low-Methane Roughage Integrated Distribution Center. Hampyeong Livestock Cooperative invested 18 billion KRW to establish the nation's first Low-Methane Roughage Integrated Distribution Center.
The Low-Methane Roughage Integrated Distribution Center is equipped with facilities for producing total mixed fermented feed and manufacturing microorganisms, as well as equipment for reducing and processing methane gas and nitrogen emissions, making it environmentally friendly and capable of producing high-quality roughage.
Deputy Governor Kang Hachun stated, "The production of low-methane roughage will be an important turning point for sustainable livestock farming," and added, "We will spare no administrative support to ensure the stable operation of the center."
