On this day, Daishin Securities issued a forecast that the U.S. tariff issue is favorable for Pungsan. After President Donald Trump announced a 25% tariff on steel and aluminum, he also ordered an investigation into copper. Lee Taehwan, a researcher at Daishin Securities, stated, "The possibility of tariff imposition leads to preemptive demand, and considering China's stimulus and limited supply conditions, there is high potential for copper price increases." He added, "Domestic production items in the non-ferrous metal sector have no sales proportion in the U.S., and production through the subsidiary PMX (U.S. corporation) is understood to source most raw materials within the U.S. region, so the tariff issue is judged to be a positive factor for Pungsan."
