Public Home Shopping, Launches 'Regional Specialized Products Market Support Project'
Supporting Market Expansion for SMEs
in Collaboration with 16 Economic Promotion Agencies Nationwide
Public Home Shopping announced on the 4th that it will launch the 'Regional Specialized Product Market Support' project in collaboration with 16 Economic Promotion Agencies nationwide.
This project was planned to contribute to revitalizing the regional economy by discovering and supporting the market channels of products specialized in each region, such as locally fostered industries, specialty products, and regional representative foods. Since the regional specialized product market support project started in 2022, a total of 72 products have met consumers over the past three years, recording sales of 3.1 billion KRW.
This year, a total of 30 products will be selected for market support. Product planners (MD) and quality assurance (QA) personnel will be assigned to provide commercialization coaching from the early stages. Along with sales support through TV home shopping, 3.5 million KRW will be provided for home shopping video production costs.
Eligibility for support is limited to small and medium-sized enterprises as defined by Article 2 of the Framework Act on Small and Medium Enterprises. Final products will be selected through a two-step process: first document screening and then a product evaluation meeting, following evaluations by the 16 Economic Promotion Agencies nationwide.
