Aiming to Nurture Young Trade Experts and Boost Regional Exports
On the 24th, Pukyong National University held the launch ceremony for the "2025 Regional Specialized Young Trade Experts Training Project (GTEP·Glocal Trade Experts incubating Program)"

View original imageSponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and operated by the Korea International Trade Association, the Regional Specialized Young Trade Experts Training Project is a program designed to cultivate global talents equipped with trade theory and practical field experience.
The launch ceremony held at Aram Hall in the Humanities, Social Sciences & Business Building of Pukyong National University was attended by Professor Taegeon An, head of the GTEP project team (Department of International Trade), Professor Dongju Lee, supervising professor (Department of International Trade), representatives of companies from the Busan region, and 35 students.
At the ceremony, Jeongho Yoo, CEO of YTP Co., Ltd., a faculty startup company and professor in the Department of International Trade, said, "This year, based on the accumulated know-how of the GTEP project team, we expect to achieve substantial exports for small and medium-sized enterprises."
Marking its 19th year this year, the GTEP project team plans to carry out activities such as supporting exports through participation in international exhibitions and e-commerce marketing targeting excellent partner companies.

Professor Taegeon An, head of the GTEP project team, stated, "Through the project team, we plan to continuously promote related programs to cultivate capable young trade experts and to achieve export results for small and medium-sized enterprises."
