Aurora Golf & Resort, KLPGA Together Kick Off a Hotter 2025 Season
Aurora Golf & Resort will welcome golfers with upgraded facilities and services for the 2025 season opening.
This year, customer convenience will be enhanced through the expansion of resort rooms, increased shuttle bus operations, and the introduction of hotel-style food and beverage services. A special promotion commemorating the first anniversary of the opening will also be held.
From July 24 to 27, the KLPGA "Aurora World Championship" with a total prize of 1 billion KRW will take place. This tournament, which promises thrilling matches for golf fans both domestic and abroad, is expected to further elevate the status of the KLPGA.
Opened last year in the pristine area of Wonju, Gangwon-do, Aurora Golf & Resort is a premium public golf course with a European sensibility, praised for its beautiful natural scenery and strategic courses. The Lake Course and Mountain Course, set against the skyline at an altitude of 550m, valleys, and lakes, offer a distinctive golf experience. In particular, the Lake Course’s 8th hole is regarded as a signature hole with Chiaksan and Gamaksan mountains as its backdrop.
The clubhouse is designed in the British Tudor Revival style, featuring a luxurious chandelier made on Murano Island in Venice and the largest media art wall (24m) among domestic golf courses, adding to its elegance.
