Completion of Incheon Airport Land Readjustment Project... Establishment of Digital Spatial Information
Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 6th that it has completed the "Cadastral Resurvey Project for Building Digital-Based Spatial Information at Incheon Airport," which was promoted in collaboration with Jung-gu Office of Incheon and Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation (LX) since June last year.

View original imageThis cadastral resurvey project was the largest scale in Incheon (44.09 million ㎡) and was the first to be implemented in the airport area.
Based on accurate digital land information, the corporation expected positive effects such as ▲improving and accelerating administrative work accuracy ▲land organization and simplification by owner ▲efficient utilization of airport land ▲development, maintenance, and management of smart airport facilities ▲smart airport operation. In particular, it was evaluated as meaningful in that after completing the recent 4th phase project, the status of major facilities and land boundaries were perfectly matched, thereby enhancing the efficiency of future development projects.
Kim Jeongheon, head of Jung-gu Office of Incheon, said, "This project is a successful model case of systematic land management," and added, "We will continue to provide active administrative support in cooperation with Incheon Airport."
