Haman-gun, 'Application for Agricultural and Fishery Income Support Project' Open for Submission
From February 3 to March 14
Haman-gun, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 5th that it will accept applications for the 'Agricultural and Fishery Workers Allowance Support Project' from February 3 to March 14.
The eligible recipients are business owners and co-managers registered in agricultural and fishery management entities who have resided in Gyeongsangnam-do from January 1, 2024, until the application date. Co-managers must be spouses of the business owners registered as farmers in the agricultural and fishery management entities and must be registered as co-managers by the application deadline (March 14).
However, those with a comprehensive income amount excluding agriculture and fishery of 37 million KRW or more in 2023, those subject to fraudulent receipt of subsidies such as direct payments, and those who have the same resident registration address as the agricultural and fishery workers allowance recipients but have separated households are excluded from eligibility.
The allowance will be paid at 300,000 KRW annually to both business owners and co-managers. Applicants can apply by visiting their local eup/myeon office or through the Bojogeum24 website.
Once applications are received, Haman-gun plans to review eligibility requirements between April and May, finalize recipients through the Agricultural and Fishery Workers Allowance Deliberation Committee, and disburse the allowance in June.
Last year, the county paid 3.36 billion KRW to 11,197 recipients. This year, it has allocated a total budget of 3.4 billion KRW targeting approximately 11,260 farms, with 2 billion KRW (60%) supported by county funds.
