The first-generation family restaurant TGI Fridays is closing its operations. It has been over 30 years since the first store opened in Korea in 1992.
According to the food service industry on the 4th, MFG Korea has decided to end the operation of the TGI Fridays brand.
Stores will be closed sequentially according to the lease contract periods. TGI Fridays is located in some branches of Lotte Department Store and Lotte Outlet.
Out of 14 stores, 10 will close on the 28th of this month, and the remaining 4 stores will cease operations next month.

An MFG Korea official explained, "We have decided to end the operation of TGI Fridays stores to focus on the Mad for Garlic brand."
